Tibet Travel Permit Update On May 23rd, 2014

Tibet Travel Permit for Mt.Kailash Tours and far western Tibet was closed from 23rd May and still there is no any clear information on when it will reopen, hopefully in Aug.
The Tibet Travel Permit for other regions except Mt.Kailash region is still easy to get and there is no any restrictions, as long as your permit application is made 10-15 days before the tour starting date. Same as last year, Norwagians are still difficult to get the permit for the time. We are hoping there will be some changes soon and we will update here in the first minute if there is any official information received, so please check back with us, and feel free to write us an email at [email protected].
