5th Dec, 2015 is a special day in Tibetan religion where it’s celebrated for the memorial of Tsongkapa (founder of Gelugpa Sect in Tibetan Buddhism and found of Gaden monastery). This special day is celebrated in all over Tibet and every homes light-up butter lamps in and around homes. Before Tibetans also bring butter lamps in their hand and do circumambulation around holy places including temples, monasteries and palaces. This special religious festival conquers every mind of Buddhist followers in Tibet where everyone chant mantras for the master and all sentient beings. The streets in Lhasa will covered with murmurings of mantras and prayers from all local Tibetans. The special day is memorial for the master who passed away in 25th Oct, 1419.
