Ken Kus Tibet Tour Reviews in April, 2013

Mark and I have successfully returned home.  We thank you for a great tour.  Regarding a testimonial, I would have the following to offer:

The tour provided by Explore Tibet was perfect for our needs.  We were two Businessmen who required a quick highlights tour of Lhasa.  We chose the 4 days Holy Lhasa Highlights Tour.  This tour was great, as it allowed us to quickly see the top four attractions within Lhasa, including the Johkang temple, Sera Monastery, Potala Palace and the Drepung Monastery.  We certainly agree with the tour’s recommendation to take it easy on the first day of arrival, and to not be too active on the next day, which is the first day of touring.  It is important to take it slow, to allow for adjustment to the high altitude of the city.  We appreciated the private tour, which allowed us to take an early afternoon nap before proceeding to the second itinerary stop of the day.  The tour guide and driver were very flexible in our meeting the needs of our daily schedule.  We had two full days of touring, which was ample time to see the key highlights of the 4 major historical sites and also allowed for plenty of time to do some local tourist shopping.

Our tour guide Yi She and driver Don Dop were very good.  They were always on time and provided us great guidance during our tours.  Yi She spent extra time with us while shopping to assist with our exploration of the local shops in the area.  We learned a lot of history about the Tibet culture and local area, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.  Explore Tibet was easy to work with, quick to respond via email, and presented a very professional organization.  We thank you again for the wonderful tour and the opportunity to visit Tibet.
