Penpa (Tour Guide)
Tashi Delek! My name is Penpa Tsering and I come from Phenbu county, which is about 120km north of Lhasa, my hometown is also well known for black necked cranes during the winter months, there are folks of black necked cranes can be seen in my home area. I studied Tibetan Buddhism at our village monastery for 8 years, later I came to Lhasa and settled with my family, now I have two kids. I have been a tour guide since 1998 and I am officially one of the Explore Tibet’s oldest tour guide, which means I am also one of the most knowledgeable and experienced tour guide in Tibet!
I speak Tibetan, English and Chinese.
