My name is Omair. Me and my wife have been living in Chengdu China since April 2015 and will be staying here till April 2017. We are from Pakistan and are here on Official Passports with Service Visas and resident permits.
We would like to visit Tibet between 1st Oct 2015 till 7th Oct 2015. Can you help us?
admin09-012015): Dear Omair uddin Baig
Could you please let me know what you mean by "official passports”? because:Diplomats Journalists professional media photographer and government officials are not able to issue their Tibet permit through ordinary travel agencies. They are only able to travel Tibet under the arrangement of Foreign Affairs Department Economic Development Committee etc.

Also please check our private tours and group tours if your passports are ok then I will help suggest the itinerary and give price accordingly. thank you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Havea good day!
Best Regards

Dear Team
We (2 people 1 German 1 Chinese coming from Hong Kong) are interested to do a Lhasa and maximum Namtsao tour could you give me some more details and ideally a price? I heard that there is a risk that the authorities will not allow any entrance into Tibet in September but I could not see any confirmation..do you have additional information?
thank you
admin09-012015): Dear Kristian Hertel
There is a rumor that the Tibet travel will be closed for foreigners during early September. It’s not confirmed yet no official announcement so I think you no need to worry about this too much. Our company can handle this situation very proficiently. If the trip has to cancel because of any unforeseen situation which is beyond the both parties control like permit closure climate and so on we only charge USD50 per person as Cancelation fees so the rest deposite we will refund you.
Besides the cancellation fee charged by Explore Tibet will keep under your name (person who contact with us) for a usable period of 2 years within the applicable period you can use it for your next trip or you can kindly pass your authority to anyone of your family friend colleague or chat pal to use by booking a tour with Explore Tibet then a certifying emails from your(the original account who contacted with us) is necessary to pass it to others but it is only applicable for Private Tour only and not for Join in Tours / Group Tours. So you can confirm our tour without hesitation. As the Tibet permition are begin to process for the people come in September so please confirm ASAP.Accoding to your request I customize 4 Days Lhasa highlights
for two of you. For private tour there are only you two guide and driver in this group you can decide on when you would like to start and end this tour on the way of traveling you can decide where to stop to take pictures or stay for longer or shorter time if guide says it’s safe and are allowed it’s more flexible. Please tell me your idea about this If you have more questions please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards

Hello i would like to travel from China into Nepal crossing through Tibet. In October. Can you please tell me how much this might cost and how best to get the appropriate visas.
Thank you.
admin09-182015): Dear Julian
As you would like to enter Tibet from China and then you will leave to Nepal here 1st I would like to give you a brief information on Tibet Travel Permits. Tibet Travel PermitsTibet travel permit info is an essential permits needed for all the foreign travelers and this permit can be obtained with 15 days so we request and we appreciate you to confirm the tour before 15 days of your trip departure or in advance. So that we can work on Tibet permits smoothly. To apply for the Tibet Travel Permits I will need you to send us your clear scan copies of passports and Chinese visa. Once I receive all your documents with your tour deposit then I will process them further to work on Tibet Travel Permits. As you will enter Tibet from China so there you will need to receive 1st your Chinese visa from your home based China Consulate. Then while you are applying for Chinese visa then do not mention that you are going to Tibet for your trip. As if you say that the China Consulate will make you difficult to receive your Chinese visa. Regarding your trip as the Tibet Nepal Border is closed due to the earth quake in Nepal because of that you will not able to cross the Tibet Nepal Border. So here now you would like to suggest for you to join with our8 Days EBC adventure
After this trip then you can take the Flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu.
Thank you so much and always looking forward to hear from you.
Have a nice day!!!
Best Regards

hiii me and my friend both wants to go tibet. we are students in china with residence permit. do we need tibet travel permit? if yes than how can i get it? tell about the price of permit and how many days it takes to get permit.
admin08-042015): hi Abhishek Yes you will need to obtain the Tibet travel permit for your Tibet trip the process takes at least 15 days. You need to first book a tour with us then we can help you apply for the permit. Will need you to send clear photos or scans of your passports and valid Chinese residence permit and your student ID/Chinese school invitation letter.
Permit itself doesn’t cost money but our service for applying for the permit for you will be included in the total tour cost.
Can you tell me when you are planning to do this tour?
We have group tour 8 days EBC exploration small groups with maximum 8 travelers in one group and the tour cost is cheaper than private tours you can check the details including itineraries and price per person as well as the tour itineraries in this link: Tibet Group tours
if you are interested in let me know please.(Sherry)

Private tour to Pasupathinath ‘ Manasavorar  and if possible Yamoduwar 3-5 family group all Australian passport holders not very fit for hiking so whole trip by comfortable vehicle and need the best available accommodation from 10-20 September.
Our beloved mother passed away recently and we wish to have pooja for her at Pasupathinath at the start of tour if possible. Please let us know whether you can arrange this tour and approximate cost at your earliest convenience.
admin08-042015): Dear Yoganathan I am truly sorry for the lose of your dear mom I can imagine how sad you and your family are that’s the saddest thing in the world. But I believe your mom will be always living in your heart and she will regain a better life.
Pasupathinath is not in Tibet I am sorry we cannot arrange tour there but for Manasavorar and Mt. Kailash we can help with applying for the permit. For Mt. Kailash the permit application will take around 1 month so if you are planning to start the trip around Sep. 10th you will need to make the decision as soon as possible. (Sherry)
