To whom it may concern
I understand that the 8 Days EBC Exploration scheduled for 9/12 must be delayed at least 2 days according to an administrator‘s comment.   I am an American student in Shanghai with a valid temporary residence permit.Would it be possible for me to join an exploration this month and return on or near 9/24? I begin classes that day.
Thanks for your time

Hi Sherry
I have some friend who want to do a motorcycling trip of Kailash Mansarovar and EBC starting and ending in Nepal. We want to get our own bikes. 2 years back we tried and heard that Indians are not allowed self-drive vehicles in China. So can you please check and let me know if we can ride our own bikes and do a trip of the same. Please share your reply at vishesh.shourie@incrediblespiti.com.
Looking forward to hear from you.

admin09-022015): Dear Vishesh Shourie
For Indians and Nepalese it’s not only about motorcycle as there is totally different permit for Indians and Nepalese who want to do Kailash tour. So for that you need to deal with local agents in India or Nepal (who runs Kailash Yatra). As there are only 2 local agencies in Tibet who can arrange the permit for these two nationalities.
I am so sorry to inform you this but it’s for real and it’s totally out of our hand.Let me know if you need any other information.
Best Regards

Hello is the 8 day tour to Kathmandu still available?  From what I understand the bridge to Nepal is closed and the only way to enter from Tibet is by flight?
admin09-012015): Dear Rey Perez
Due to the Nepal Earthquake in April 25th the Tibet Nepal Border town and the route were damaged. After that situation the Tibet Nepal Border was closed and also it will be not able to depart drive from Lhasa to Kathmandu by land this year. Also it is confirmed by the government that this year they will not re-open the Tibet Nepal Border. If you are interested to do the Tibet Tour for this year then I would suggest for you to join with our group tour 8 Days EBC Exploration that itinerary will start from Lhasa and will take you to visit Mt. Everest base Camp then drive back to Lhasa so that will be the only option for this year if you are interested please check on our website8 Days EBC adventure
If you have any questions or need any services then please always feel free to contact me.
Thank you so much and always looking forward to hear from you.
Have a nice day!!!

hii would like to enter in Tibet from Nepal overland in the end of Octoberthen take the train to Chengdu. Is that possible as Chinese Visa application (in Florence consulate) ask for a return flight? And how much does it cost(Tibet permit2 days in Lhasa and the train)?
admin09-012015): Dear Fabio
Since from April 25th the Tibet Nepal Border was closed due to the route and the Tibet Border town was damaged by the earthquake in Nepal. Since then the border has been closed and this year it will be not possible to reopen the Tibet Nepal Border. Means you will not able to cross and enter Tibet from Tibet Nepal Border and do the Overland to Lhasa. But if you are interested to visit Tibet then I would suggest for you to take the Flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and also if you are a single traveler then I would suggest for you to join with our group tour4 Days Lhasa highlights
after finishing the trip you can also take the train to Chengdu. Regarding the train there is only one direct train from Lhasa to Chengdu in two days so in October every odd dates will be available on this direct train. The Odd dates are 1357911 and so on. Each of these train has 32 soft sleepers and 64 hard sleepers. The train ride from Lhasa to Chengdu will take around 44.30mins.
Hope the above information is helpful and if you have any questions or need any services then please always feel free to contact me.
Thank you so much and always looking forward to hear from you.
Have a nice day!!!

We are landing in Beijing Oct. 1 2015.  We have hotel booked for a week. Don‘t want to try to travel during Chinese holiday week just enjoy Beijing. Your help would be beneficial from Oct. 7 or 8 through Oct. 21 when my girlfriend Carol flies out of Beijing. If crowds leave Lhasa Oct.7 or 8 we would like to fly Beijing to Lhasa stay in Tibet 10 days. We would like to stay in Ganden 2 nights the rest in Lhasa. Carol would fly back to Beijing Oct. 19 and I would take the train to Lanzhou (?) and then to Xian. I am staying until Nov.11.
admin09-182015): Dear Patrick Sagal
Yes avoide the Chinese holiday week is a good idea. Flight to Lhasa on Oct. 8 is a suitable time. There is no accomadation in Ganden Monastery so we need to to back to Lhasa.Yes Carol can fly back to Beijing Oct. 19 you will take the train to Lanzhou on the same daytoo? We can help you book the trran tickets but train tickets are very difficult to book in high tourist seasons and it start to sell 60 days in advance nowadays so you need to confirm ASAP. Then we can work on the tickets booking after you make the deposite. There is no soft sleeper from Lhasa to Lanzhou but only four hard sleeper train ticket left now.
Please check the Tibet train from Xining to Lhasa
Please tell me your idea thank you!
Best Regards
