Shalu Monastery-Tibet.

Shalu monastery was established in 1040 and is about 22 Km of southern Shigatse. Popular known for its psychic training and learning institution of Tibetan Buddhism then.  Shalu monastery was built by a noble family of Tsangpa and housing around 3000-3500 monks and come under Sakya sect of Tibetan Buddhism. In 1329, it was destroyed in an earthquake. It was rebuilt in 1333 by local Lord.These days the site is a tourist spot to let the world explore our historical background.
