The Drum Dance

Drum Dance is popular among Tibetan people,and it is an ancient art-form highly loved by Tibetan people.It comes from the Lhoka region,it is known as the‘dro’.In performance the dance,woman and man are dancing while singing.Sometimes,man dance accompaniment woman singing.There are 16 dancers in each performance,including one leader.They danced with swift,abrupt movements,which needs a highly skilled performance.When dance,Tibetan people will wear their beautiful costume and wear hey wear long hair.Their cloth mostly are red.No matter woman or man,they stamp backwards and forwards in rhythm.Tibetan man always put drums at their waists and drumsticks in their hands.The drum is very big with one diameter even more.They twisting their heads as they dance,and beat the drum,all of which draws cheers from the audience.
